I will use my Voice to Spread Awareness, Promote Acceptance & Educate Globally!
I am transparent, encouraging, and inclusive in my messages.

I’m Sabrina Thomas. I’m a Speaker, an Author, and an Advocate. Most importantly, I am the mother to two sons. My one son, Omar, has inspired by passion for Autism awareness and Special Education. Omar has Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and an Intellectual Disability. I understand the importance of being a voice for the voiceless, and I feel it is my duty to spread what I’ve learned to those around me. It is my goal to raise awareness together so that we as advocates can change and better the lives of those with special needs both now and moving forward.

If a child cannot learn in the way we teach, we must teach in a way that a child can learn.

When your child gets a diagnosis the normal stress of parenting is compounded with additional stress, doubt, and questions.

Can I learn what I need to know about my child’s needs to support their development? What will it take to make sure the rest of my family has what they need?

Parents mourn the loss of the typically developing child they had dreamed of. Siblings sometimes struggle understanding why their sister or brother receives so much attention, as well as why they act differently.\
Parents may feel a sense of shame, wondering if family members are judging their child or judging their parenting. And the stares from strangers in public places.

I understand how it feels to go numb and feel depleted. I been there but I didn’t stay there. I started mediating, praying and writing in my journal. If this sounds like you, let’s connect.
